A centre for archives, temporary exhibitions and conferences, the Mundaneum is a tribute to its founders
Henri La Fontaine and Paul Otlet.
The Mundaneum Archive Center keeps some 6 kms of documents.
In addition to the personal papers of the founders, Paul Otlet and Henri La Fontaine, and the collections of newspapers, posters, postcards, plates and small documents collected by them or their successors, the Mundaneum retains funds from archives relating to three main themes: pacifism, anarchism and feminism.
The objectives of the Mundaneum are to safeguard and preserve these collections, as well as their valorization through exhibitions, publications and events.
