Information

Fancy a dive into the past in the town of Spa?

Head to the "Musée de la Ville d’Eaux", the ancient home of Queen Marie-Henriette and wife of Léopold II.

The ground floor of the museum retraces the story of this famous spa town and features authentic documents, rare objects and videos illustrating the astonishing evolution of the cradle of modern balneology, now referred to as the "Pearl of the Ardennes" and home to the acclaimed "Café de l'Europe". The brand-new layout also includes "jolités" – ancient objects made of wood from the town of Spa.

Visit the temporary exhibition 2025 (from April).
