MUMONS, Sciences, Arts & Curiosities
The UMONS university museum welcomes you all year round in the former chapel of the Visitandines, a real architectural showcase and place of scientific wonder in the centre of the city of Mons.
Its mission? To give you the keys to understanding the world. Its leitmotiv? Science, art and curiosity!
‘Electric!’, the new major exhibition at MUMONS, opening on 28 August 2025.
This historic and immersive exhibition traces the major discoveries related to electricity, while offering a few hands-on activities to help visitors understand how it works.
The exhibition is open to the public and has various levels of interpretation, making it suitable for a wide range of audiences: families with children aged 7 and up, secondary schools, and anyone who is curious!
Guided tours are planned for each of these audiences:
children aged 7 to 12 from 1 October;
‘curious Sunday visitors’ every second Sunday of the month, starting on 12 October;
