Bouvignes is a medieval town set on banks of the Meuse, home to a rich heritage in the shape of ancient houses, time-honoured craft traditions and the "copper beaters" who formerly exercised their trade here.

Enter into the heart of the historic quarter and push open the door to the Mosan Medieval Heritage Centre to find out all about the eventful story of Mosane valley.

The Centre invites you to discover the river, town and castle, man and his environment in the Middle Ages, religious beliefs and funeral rites, ceramics and the metal workshop.

Other attractions include permanent and temporary exhibits, mock-ups, multimedia terminals, original illustrations and authentic objects unearthed during recent archaeological digs.
