The Hergé Museum: a 5-minute walk from Louvain-la-Neuve station, an astonishing portrait of the creator of Tintin and Snowy. Drawings, photos, documents and rare objects are brought together in remarkable architecture worthy of the master of the Ligne Claire.
The largest museum in the world dedicated to a comic strip artist. An exceptional place, designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc. A highly sophisticated scenography: a formidable palette of colours in the service of a legendary work. An astonishingly rich graphic heritage: original drawings, archive documents, films, models, and rare and precious objects fill this great dream machine.
The art of the creator of Tintin and Snowy, the father of European comics, is presented in all its facets: Hergé was an illustrator, letter-writer, scriptwriter, publicist and sometimes painter, the inventor of a graphic style that has stood the test of time and fashion.
In the heart of the Hergé Museum, the café restaurant Le Petit Vingtième invites you to enjoy a moment of pleasure and relaxation in a refined, modern setting. Offering authentic and classic dishes, you can enjoy creations that change with the seasons.
