Welcome aboard the brand new Citadel cable car!
Individuals, families, or groups, young or old – there’s room for everyone aboard our safe and comfortable cable car. Hop on-board and discover unique panoramas over the city, the Citadel and the spectacular landscapes of Namur.
The cable car starts from Place Maurice Servais in the heart of the historic city centre, spans the Sambre river, storms the ramparts of the Citadel and touches down gently on the esplanade 650 metres away. At its highest point, it reaches an altitude of 103 metres. A trip of just over 7 minutes will peacefully transport you into a magical realm between heaven and earth.
The jewels of the city will be yours. Right there at your fingertips! Whether in the air, at the Citadel or on the ground in the historic city centre, you’ll be just a stone’s throw from all of the attractions and events that Namur has to offer.

• On school days in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: Monday to Friday: 7.30-18.00 • During school holidays in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, weekends and public holidays: 10.00-18.00 - except summer school holidays (10.00-18.30) and the period between the end of the All Saints' holidays and the start of the Carnival holidays (10.00-17.00) • Closed: Mondays from October 1 to March 31; December 25 and January 1
