The river Ourthe descent is a must-do excursion that always gets top votes!
Waterfalls, rapids, rocks and low-hanging branches... kayaking promises a delightful day of adventure for all.

Explore the river Ourthe between Barvaux, Hamoir and Comblain-au-Pont in a kayak (1, 2 or 3-seater) with a choice of itineraries:

Hamoir - Comblain-au-Pont: 8.4 km
Barvaux - Hamoir: 15 km (important: one departure par day only. Shuttle departure for Barvaux at 10.00)
Barvaux - Comblain-au-Pont: 23.4 km (important: one departure par day only. Shuttle departure for Barvaux at 10.00)

Meeting point: Hamoir. Departure on shuttle or kayak according to chosen itinerary.
The price includes a shuttle between the departure and arrival points. Group rates from 16 paying participants.

For school groups: kayak descents can be booked with one of our monitors. Participants will learn some basic techniques during the excursion.

Life jackets are provided but participants must imperatively know how to swim at least 25 metres.

Opening times

4/04 to 4/10: every day from 10.00 (closed Mondays). Meeting point: Hamoir. For the Hamoir - Comblain-au-Pont descent (8.4 km): departures from 10.30 to 15.00 (last departure). Important! One departure per day only at 10.00 for Barvaux-Hamoir (15 km).
